Questions Singapore clients ask Duova LLC
The practical ones: scope, timelines, handover and money. If your question isn't here, email us and we'll answer it directly.
How projects are priced
Fixed-scope builds get a fixed price from a written scope. Ongoing work runs on a monthly retainer with an agreed hour block. Discovery and UX/UI design are quoted separately from development, so you can stop after design and still own the deliverables.
We invoice by bank transfer. There is no online card payment, no checkout and no payment gateway on this site.
Because design and development are quoted apart, you can take the design phase on its own and decide about the build afterwards. Nothing is bundled to hide where the money goes.
Typical timelines
A marketing site with a defined scope usually runs several weeks from kickoff to launch. WooCommerce builds depend heavily on catalog size and how ready your product data is. App projects run longer, and the design phase is a real portion of that, not a formality.
The biggest variable is client-side: product photos, legal copy, payment provider approval and domain access delay more launches than development does. When those inputs arrive late, the launch date moves with them, and no amount of build speed makes up for it.
- A signed scope and a settled deposit invoice
- Access to your domain and hosting
- A named decision-maker on your side
- Design assets, brand guidelines and existing content if you have them
If a decision-maker isn't available, projects stall. We would rather know that upfront and plan around it.
Handover and ownership
You own the design files, the code and the documentation at the end of the engagement. Handover includes component documentation and a walkthrough with whoever will maintain the site, including external teams.
We don't hold projects hostage with proprietary tooling or withheld files. If your in-house developer takes over, they get the same walkthrough your team gets, and we answer their questions in the same thread.
Design files
Source files for every screen we designed, organised by the flows they belong to, plus the components they were built from.
Code
The repository we built in, with its deployment notes, handed to your account rather than held by us.
Documentation
Component notes and a recorded walkthrough so the next person can maintain the build without guessing.
Do you work with clients outside Singapore?
Yes. Singapore is our main market, but we're registered in Georgia and work with clients elsewhere. Scheduling is workable; we keep written communication thorough because time-zone gaps punish ambiguity.
Practically, that means decisions land in writing rather than in a call nobody outside the room attended. Our registered address is 40 Zhuli Shartava St, Tbilisi, Georgia, and the studio is reachable Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

Scope, handover and support, answered
These are the questions that come up most often once a scope exists. Open any of them for the full answer, or send yours by email if it isn't covered.
Can you take over an existing project?
Often. We review the design files or codebase first and give a written assessment of what's usable. Sometimes the honest recommendation is to keep most of what exists and rebuild specific parts. We won't quote a full rebuild just because it's easier to sell.
What if the scope changes mid-project?
Change requests get written up with a cost and timeline impact before work proceeds. You approve or decline. Small adjustments inside an existing component usually don't trigger a change request; new screens or features do. This is why the original scope is written in detail — vagueness is what makes change requests feel arbitrary.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Bug fixes in the weeks after launch are included. Beyond that, most clients return for a second phase or a retainer. We don't sell round-the-clock support contracts, and we'll tell you if your maintenance needs are better served elsewhere.
Which platforms do you build on?
It depends on what the project has to do afterwards. Marketing sites and content-led builds usually go on WordPress or Webflow so your team can edit them. Online stores go on WooCommerce or a comparable platform. Mobile apps are built with Flutter or native tooling, and the choice is argued in the scope rather than assumed.
How does a project usually start?
With a written brief from you and a written scope from us. Discovery and UX/UI design come next, then development, then handover. You can see how that sequence runs on our process page before you commit to anything.
